Alaska Family Cruise Vacation

Our Family Cruise to Alaska was very enjoyable.We flew to Seattle and boarded the Holland America Cruise ship, the ms Amsterdam.

40th Wedding Anniversary Cruise

We had a great time celebrating 100 years of marriage! It was our 40th Anniversary while my wife's folks were celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Best Alaskan Cruise Line

We ended up with 10 family members taking this Holland America Alaska Cruise. While others in the group have taken cruises to various world destinations, this was the first cruise experience for my wife and me.

Of course the discussion at meals was often just what is the best Alaskan cruise line to take.

Since this was our first cruise, my wife and I were totally satisfied with our experience on the Holland American Amsterdam. Yet for the others, all experienced cruise ship travelers, there were lots of comparisons made to the Cruise ship experiences they had previous to this Alaska cruise vacation.

Another Alaska Cruise Vacation Being Planned

We discovered that an Alaska inside passage cruise really does not give the term Alaskan Cruise justice, since the portion of Alaska we saw is a very small part of the beautiful state of Alaska.

But then that simply means we will be back, taking another cruise to Alaska. For us on this vacation.cheapest cruise prices were really not investigated but certainly will be for our next.

Of course I am open to any suggestions as we plan our next family cruise vactaion.
